skip this post if you don't like the title. The last few days have been a little stressful. The antibiotics were making him sluggish and constipated. When he did go poop, it was "bad". The vet told me to give him half a pill of pepsid AC 2x a day for 3 days to help with the "bad". He also suggested feeding him a tablespoon of pumpkin with his meal. I'm doing that now too. He loves pumpkin.
He went a day and a half without pooping. I was getting concerned so I left him outside in yesterday morning. He left the biggest surprise when I got home. Hehe. Today was a similar deal. He didn't go last night or this morning but he did go on today's evening walk.
He's showing a bit more energy. He's happy to see me and I didn't have to call him out of his crate this morning. Though he doesn't have the energy to run with me. He just walked fast. I know he has it in him though.
Spraying his feel while standing doesn't work. I go back on what I said before. It's easier when he's on his side. I actually had to go through some exercises with him so he wouldn't be afraid of the bottle. At first I wanted him to come near me so I could pet him with the bottle. that didn't work well. They i put food on the bottle. He had to go near it in order to get the food. I don't think he's afraid of the bottle any more.
